Signup Notice for Fall 2008
When: Wednesday, May 14^th and Thursday, May 15^th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Where: Vestal Middle School Online Registration: For your convenience, a secure online registration is available. For more information go to http://www.vrysa.org/vrysaOnlineRegistration.htm Who: Boys and girls born between 1992 and 2004, who are legal residents of the Vestal School District. Open to other school districts within NYSWYSA boundaries if parents agree to volunteer. If not enough 2004 players register, then these players will be merged with the 2003 players. Proof of age is required for all players who did not play for VRYSA the past two years. Cost: $30.00 for each. Fee is due at the time of registration, and includes shirt, socks, award and medical insurance. Late registration: late sign-ups are not guaranteed a spot on a team. An additional $5.00 late registration fee per child must accompany any late registration, anytime after May 15^th. Parents will be required to support VRYSA by volunteering. Equipment: Players must wear shin guards during practice and games. Soccer cleats with rubber spikes are recommended for shoes. Metal spikes are not allowed. Insurance regulations prohibit jewelry from being worn by players under any circumstances. Practice and Games: Practice will start approximately mid August. Players will be contacted by coaches. Practice times and locations are set by coaches. Games start on August 30^th and end in early November. Games will be played as scheduled (rain, snow, etc.) unless players are notified otherwise. Note: VRYSA players may also play for other teams (e.g. travel and school teams). A player who elects to play only with the other team may not return to VRYSA and forfeits their registration fee.
